No Limits Curriculum
A new approach
The skills required to succeed in the 21stcentury have changed. It is time for our schools to change with them. From 2018, Aspirations will be designing a new curriculum.
Students will continue to learn discrete subjects, known as Core Learning. They will apply what they have learned in the classroom to real-world projects that cross subject disciplines. This is called Applied Transdisciplinary Learning (ATL).
Decades of research show that applying knowledge results in higher retention. This will be evident through outstanding exam performance.
How it works
Core Learning and ATL will be integrated within the school day. Students will spend between two to three hours per day working on ATL projects. The rest of the day will be dedicated to subject-specific learning.
Within this context, students will develop their Future Skills.
Even our youngest learners will participate in ATL projects. Project length, complexity and involvement from employers will increase as students get older.
Students will show what they have learned in Assessment, Presentation and Performance Weeks and through a digital skills app.
