In addition to this, the academy also recorded a very impressive set of A Level results that highlighted the hard work and dedication of the Post-16 staff and students.
The news has rewarded students and staff that have been working tirelessly to ensure that pupils came out with the grades that they earned throughout their time at the academy, following a turbulent academic year disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.
These results include 76% achieving Grade 4 or above in English and Maths, and 55% achieving Grade 5 or above in English and Maths, which is the highest percentage of Grade 5+ in the academy’s five-year history.
Moreover, the academy achieved a 100% pass rate (Grade 4 or above) in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, which is a reflection of Space Studio’s commitment to being a model in excellence for scientific and mathematical learning.
Principal Andrew Morgan said: “These are some fantastic and well deserved results for students at the end of a really difficult year.
“This is how all results days should be. All students getting the grades they deserve for the work they have done. Lots of relief, and no students missing out because they had an off day.”

Andrew Morgan is delighted for all of the pupils that collected results over the last fortnight: “Students now have the grades they need to progress to the next stage of their lives. Whether this is University, college or an apprenticeship, or continuing their studies at Space Studio West London.”
High academic qualifications are one central tenet to the ethos of Space Studio, which also includes the acquisition of 21st century skills, and applying these skills and knowledge to real-life situations, encouraging a hands-on approach to learning.
