The courses

We offer two courses:

PGCE trainee – one year leading to Qualified Teacher Status in primary or secondary phase (check secondary subjects online [link]). Use a student loan for this course. This is most suitable if you currently have a small amount of school experience.

Teacher apprenticeship – one year leading to Qualified Teacher Status in primary or secondary and teacher apprenticeship. This course requires you to be employed as an unqualified teacher in an Aspirations school so it is intended for those with more experience – contact us for details. You will pay no fee for this course.

About you

To apply for these courses you need to have a relevant degree 2.2 or above, GCSE passes at grade 4/C in English, Mathematics and (primary only) a science subject.

You will be joining a progressive, successful schools trust which believes that there is no limit for our children – so we will expect to see a similar vision in you.
