The circus came to Oak Hill Academy’s playing field for one night of magical entertainment and left hundreds of children beaming!
Happy’s Circus set up its Big Top in the school’s playing field for a spectacular show lasting almost three hours.
It wasn’t just the students at Oak Hill who enjoyed watching the acrobats, aerialists and clowns, the event was open to all children and residents living in Feltham. The Big Top holds 600 and was a sell out, raising £1800 for the school.
The visit by Happy’s Circus last Thursday (April 28th) is the third time the company has chosen to host a show at Oak Hill in the last 10 years.
Rebecca Thomson, Oak Hill’s Business Manager, told the Hounslow Herald: ‘‘Happy’s Circus is designed for schools and the show provided our students and community with a wonderful evening of entertainment. It was hosted by a ringmaster and clown. The show included acrobats, aerialists, speciality acts, magic and lots of audience participation!’’
